I’m thinking of taking a little dive. I do love the feel of warm waters softly contouring my limbs as I try to keep afloat on my way to the other side of the pool….
This pool is overwhelmingly large. An abyss of activity, fluttering, flurrying, pushing, shoving and competing for a little bit of light, a little bit of breathing room….the light of a writer.
I’m thinking of taking a dive into a pool of submissions.
With my mind reeling on new writings, a part of me tugs to those of the past. Past thoughts, emotions, placing of words, one after another to illuminate a snapshot of my life, my family’s life for you. So it is to you I ask…what is your favorite?
What posts have you read that fogged your mind to the present and brought you reeling to the past; that brought moisture to your eyes or an escape of a belly laugh? Is it one of these (below), or another that brings it home?
What should I submit? Which do you love? And while I’m at it, I’ll add some blogger’s Link Love (with Simply Linked).
LINK to one (or more) of your favorite posts FROM YOUR BLOG for us to read. Don’t blog? No worries…add a link to a site, blog, saying, reading that brings you a laugh or inspiration.
Read. Link. Comment….
Please…Read. Link. Comment. I know it’s long, so I’m leaving this up (most likely) for the week. I’m looking forward to your thoughts…and links.

I linked! Always liked that one, it has stuck with me.
And can you believe I do not even know what month it is, had to come back to re-post this. Is it Christmas yet?
I am going to have to come back and read more. And not sure what I want to link but I’ll think about it. Actually I know. BRB.
I like Consider The Magic! Beautiful.
I’m going to have to take some time to read and re-enjoy, Mia.
Glad you’re testing the waters. I’m pretty sure you’ll find they are just fine.
I totally related to I Want To Run Out of My House.
Good luck with submissions. You are a talented writer.
You are indeed, a talented writer and I’m so happy that you are taking this literary plunge. When I first found your blog and was digging in the archives, the post that resonated with me the most was “In His Eyes”. It still sticks with me today. Just beautiful…
Ahhh, there you go — one of mine this time.
A couple of stand-outs for me:
“These Moments Are But A Butterfly’s Flutter”
“She is Sunshine”
“In His Eyes”
“I Want To Run Out of My House”
Excellent writing, Mia. You capture the emotions of life beautifully.
Hope you and your family have a spooktacular Halloween!
Welcome to 1st grade Alex and Consider the Magic (b/c my hubby flies helicopters). =)
