You Need A Coobie

I have a new friend.  Coobie.

Coobie is so good to me.  We’ve only become familiar with each other about three weeks ago.  A surprise really; happenstance of circumstance and we have found each other.  We fit.  Since we’re friends and Coobie has become so important to me, I thought I should introduce you…

Don’t stop reading.  This could be the review that changes everything!

Before Coobie, I was ready to hang up the bra.  I was tired of the adjusting, squirming, jigging and jiving I was continually doing throughout the day.  I couldn’t wait to get the blasted thing off my body at the end of the time.  Sometimes, admittedly, I flung it off way before the day was at its end because I just couldn’t stand it anymore.  No matter the size, shaping, brand, old or new…no bra was “the” bra.  Until Coobie.

I describe it sort of like a sports bra but even more comfortable and without the “smashing” of the “ladies” that sports bras can bring.  The material expands effortlessly but without the fear of loosing shape.  Coobie is one-size fits most and the company guarantees a perfect fit for anyone sized 32A to 36D (though it has gone to 40B) and comes in a surprising number of colors (black, white, nude, fuchsia pink, purple, brilliant blue and bright yellow).

Coobie has thought not only of comfort and color, but style.  They have three styles, scoopneck (similar to a normal sports bra), scoopneck with lace (a great option for showing a little lace under a low cut shirt), and a strapless style.  Each style has a little design in the center as an added touch.  Each bra comes with FREE clear straps as an extra little goodie and they already cost much less than a single good bra.  One more – you can change the straps.  I am more of the criss-cross in the back kind of comfort gal…and these can do that too.

But what you really want to know is how does it feel at the end of the day?  Honestly, I have to think about whether or not I’m wearing a bra.  It’s THAT comfortable.  I have not adjusted a Coobie bra once, and I’ve worn one every day for three weeks.  I put it on, I chase the kids, do the dishes, laundry, whatever, it stays in place.  No straps digging in my shoulders. Nothing riding up and pushing the ladies out of their comfort zone, no squishing.  I love them.

Now, in the interest of full disclosure, because our relationship is built on complete honesty, I have to tell you how I came to find these, and why I’m doing this review.  Blogger Mommies did a Face Book giveaway.  I found this as I tweeted with them (@BloggerMommies), went to their FB page and became a fan and was automatically entered into their drawing…and I won.  One. Bra.

It was shipped immediately, I wore it the next day.  By the end of the next day, I tweeted @BloggerMommies and ordered…Three.  More.  That is how comfortable they are.  I’m doing the review, not because they asked for it, it was not part of the conditions of winning.  I’m doing the review because I honestly love these bras and I wanted to pass them along to you in case you can’t stand the number of times you adjust during the day.

So.  If you’re not sold, I challenge you to be contentious over the next two days.  Count the number of times you wiggle just a little to gain the tiniest bit of comfort; the number of times you flip your strap back up on your shoulder; the number of times you grab in the middle or sides and give it a good yank down.  See how sore your shoulders are at the end of the day for a strap digging in.  See if you sigh in relief when you rip the sucker off.  If you do any of these even once, You Need A Coobie.

Not sure?  Don’t want to pay until you know they’re good…I popped over to Blogger Mommies and found that they’re doing a giveaway of a Coobie.  Just click here to visit and enter the giveaway. They have a review and then the contest rules follow.  It ends December 1st, so don’t wait.

Sold but don’t want to wait?  They have these available through their store and made these available for online ordering.  You can get there by clicking here.

So….do you adjust?  Do you have a bra that you just love?  Or…are you as Jannie Funster, flinging bras into the trees and enjoying the breeze?
